Comparative Statistics:

Miami, where a law abiding citizen can get a CCW permit, just went a month without a homicide.

Chicago, where handguns in the hands of citizens are illegal, they are whooping it up at City Hall because there will probably be fewer than 400 murders this year.

That gun ban is really working out well for you guys in the Windy City.

Reminds me a little of a story my dad told me about gun control in DC. In the aftermath of the Supreme Court Heller decision, the Washington Post interviewed some DC residents who were astonished to learn that their city had a handgun ban. "What are you talking about?" they asked the reporter, "you can buy a gun right down the street from here."
