Yeah, There's A Government Program For That

I think Congress may be a little like an isolation tank. The longer you spend there, the more squirrely you get.

Take this gem from Harry Reid:

"Men when they're out of work tend to become abusive," Reid said as he argued in favor of a cloture vote on the jobs bill. "I met with some people while I was home dealing with domestic abuse. It has gotten out of hand. Why? Men don't have jobs. Women don't have jobs either, but women aren't abusive, most of the time. Men, when they're out of work, tend to become abusive. Our domestic crisis shelters in Nevada are jammed.
This may, in fact, be true. But its an awfully strange argument for the Federal government to spend a shit ton of tax money on a jobs bill.

If you pound lumps on your wife, you scumbag, that's between you, your wife, the local PD and if there's justice in the universe, your future cellmate.

H/T to Powerline which you should go look at to see the pic of Reid in a tank top.

Unemployed men get abusive? Hell, I guess Reid's wife better get a restraining order ready for 2010...

The shirt Reid is wearing at Powerline is known as a "Wife Beater" which is probably why he is shown in one.
