Four office outlets, original two-prong box-grounded, all replaced with modern three-prong self-grounding outlets, stained wood coverplates installed, each plug tested and confirmed OK, house not burned down.
That's enough success for one day. Tomorrow I get to rewire the ancient four-hole phone jack into a new RJ45 jack. Slowly the home office returns to full functionality and a less-cluttered use of space.
