Not much to report. I finally boxed up my Kimber rimfire and sent it off to Kimber's Main Place For Fixing Busted Stuff and Custom Shop, incongruously located in Yonkers, NY.
It arrived yesterday, or so the UPS website informs me. The wait now begins for them to let me know why extracting empty cartridges seems like such a chore for this pricey little pistol, and what they propose to do about it.
