NYC Passes Soda Ban

Well, its official. The nanny-state bureaucrats in New York have passed the ban on selling soda in any container larger than 16 ounces. Starting  March 12, this will be punished with a warning. By mid-June, violations will result in a fine.

I guess Bloomberg never heard of this thing called refills.

No word on if Starbucks will be allowed to sell 700-calorie brownie mocha frappucinos.
