Lt. Uhura, Replay Last Transmission

I often refer to President Obama as the first female president, or overly pussified, or feminized, or the like. Ha ha, I make the funnies. But it seems that we now have positive proof that he may indeed be a guy, because he seems to find the same joke funny over and over and over again.

Sebelius is a "me", not a "thee" for taxes too.
WASHINGTON -- Health and Human Services nominee Kathleen Sebelius has corrected three years worth of tax returns after finding "unintentional errors."

I can't remember how many Bush I/Clinton/Bush II cabinet and sub-cabinet nominees and appointees got dinged for taxes, so I assume this could be a case of "over"vetting or overexposure and I acknowledge that the real test will be the next Republican administration, whenever that might be, but still.

It looks bad to people that don't expect all Democratic pols to be crooked or slimey in some way; i.e. non-liberals.

Either all politicians are untrustworthy (plausible), or our tax code is totally incomprehensible.

I generally assume politicians are dishonest, but they've got to know about the hyper-vetting that takes place, and the 24 hour news cycle that sensationalizes every non-event into a scandal, so I am starting to think its the tax system.

Of course, the above overlooks another possibility-that politicians, generally speaking are dumber than dogshit.

I definitely agree that a large factor must be the ridiculous tax codes *all* of us must live by. But fewer Democratic tax kiters or a simpler tax code - eitehr one of these I am in favor of.
